One local company to supply, install and look after it
Buying commercial refrigeration online is easy until the unit arrives on a pallet at the back door. Someone has to get it inside, set it level, make sure the condenser has room to breathe, connect the water on an ice machine and watch it pull down to temperature. Months later, someone has to service it and fix it when a fan or a controller fails. Sam does all of that, for the full Bromic range, across Perth.
Sam Celesti has more than 20 years in commercial refrigeration and is ARCtick licensed (AU55592). When you buy a Bromic unit through him, the person who quotes it is the person who installs it, and the same person you call if it ever needs attention. There are no subcontractors in the chain and no waiting on a courier and a separate installer to line up.
What is in the Bromic range
Bromic makes refrigeration for the places that sell and serve food and drink: cafes, restaurants, bars, delis, bakeries, supermarkets and convenience stores, plus medical fridges for clinics and pharmacies. The range above is grouped the way most businesses shop for it.
- Upright fridges and freezers for drinks, stock and back-of-house storage, with glass doors for display or solid doors for prep areas.
- Underbench and back bar fridges that sit under a counter or behind a bar, where floor space is tight and staff need stock at hand.
- Multideck, countertop and deli displays for grab-and-go food, salads, cold meats and cheeses in front of customers.
- Cake, hot and ambient food displays for bakeries, cafes and food counters, refrigerated or heated depending on the product.
- Gelato and ice cream displays and chest freezers for frozen stock.
- Medical and vaccine fridges built to hold a tight temperature band.
- Ice machines, self-contained or modular on a storage bin, with accessories.
Each category page lists every current model with its capacity, size, temperature range and energy rating, so you can narrow the choice before you call. "Full specs" on each product opens its complete specification table, here on this site.
Choosing the right unit
Most refrigeration problems we are called out to begin with a unit that was the wrong fit for the job. A few minutes on these points saves a lot of trouble later.
Capacity and how fast stock turns over
Size the unit for your busiest day, not an average one, and leave room for air to circulate around the stock. A fridge packed to the walls cannot hold temperature, however big its compressor. If deliveries arrive warm and in bulk, a larger unit with more refrigeration capacity recovers faster after the doors have been open.
The space it has to live in
Measure the opening, then add the door swing and a gap at the top and back for the condenser to shed heat. Check the route in as well: doorways, corridors and stairs stop more installs than anything else. Sam can visit the site and measure up before you commit.
Heat around the unit
Perth kitchens and bars get hot, and a fridge that sits beside a fryer, a pizza oven or in a closed cupboard works much harder than one with open air around it. Every Bromic model lists the room temperature it is rated for, and across the range that runs from 25 degrees C to 43 degrees C, so a unit that suits an air-conditioned shop may not suit a hot kitchen. Placement matters as much as the rating, and it is one of the first things Sam checks.
Running costs
A commercial fridge runs around the clock, so energy use adds up. Bromic lists the GEMS star rating and daily energy consumption for its fridges, and comparing those figures across two similar models can show a real difference over the life of the unit. LED lighting, self-closing doors and good door seals all help.
Glass or solid doors
Glass doors sell what is inside and let staff see stock levels without opening the door. Solid doors hold temperature better and suit prep areas and back-of-house storage where nobody needs to browse.
Supply and installation
Once you have chosen a model, Sam quotes the unit with delivery and installation in Perth. On the day he places and levels it, checks the clearances, confirms the power supply suits the plug and load, and connects the water and drain on ice machines. He then runs the unit down to temperature and checks it is holding before he leaves, so the first time you load it you know it works. If there is an old unit to remove, ask about it when you get your quote.
Servicing and repairs after the sale
A well-placed Bromic unit will run for years, but every commercial fridge needs its condenser cleaned and its seals, fans and controls checked from time to time. Sam services and repairs Bromic refrigeration whether or not you bought it from us. Repairs are charged at a $75 + GST call-out and $180 an hour + GST plus parts, with a fixed quote for the repair once he has found the fault.
